In this resin sculpture, Giorgio Conta presents a simple, silent human figure, whose torso emerges as a contemplative, collected presence. The delicate, absorbed face conveys an intimate, timeless dimension, while the surface of the body, marked by textures and incisions, conveys a strong material sensitivity.

The artist's research, inspired by the nature of forests and mountains, is reflected in a form that combines balance and introspection. The figure does not narrate an action, but a state of being: a stillness charged with meaning, where life, mystery, and reflection coexist.

For Conta, the human figure is never descriptive, but evocative: an image that is completed in the gaze of the observer, leaving room for interpretation and inner dialogue.
