Biography
Painter, singer and musician, he was born in Bagno di Romagna in the province of Forlì/Cesena in 1981. He graduated from the Art Institute of Sansepolcro and attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. His exhibition activity began in 2002 with the Mentana Art Gallery in Florence and in the following years Casetti managed to turn his passion for art and painting into a real profession. In 2013, he exhibited at the Reuss Galerie in Berlin. Also in 2013, he took an active part as vice-president and teacher of painting, drawing and nude life drawing in the Arts factory project: a three hundred and sixty degree Academy of Art and experimentation, located in a charming farmhouse in the hills of Romagna and led by sculptor Roberto Giordani. In 2015 he was a guest in San Francisco, California, U.S.A. and in Government Camp, Oregon, U.S.A. for the realisation of two performances on iron. Also in the same year, he was a guest artist in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for an artist residency. He currently collaborates with several galleries in Holland Italy, Germany and Taiwan.
