The paintings of Parma-born artist Sara Paini release at the same time the simplicity and complexity that characterise the expressiveness of an emotionally pure and delicate soul. Her pictorial gesture is centred on colour and matter, precisely to enhance the peculiar characteristics of the being that she narrates in the dynamism of simple and conceptual forms.
Biography
Sara Paini was born in Parma on 26 February 1985. A child of art, she graduated from the P.Toschi Art School in Parma and consecutively graduated with honours from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. Not only art, but also expressive disciplines such as dance and theatre are part of her background and have contributed to her training as a painter and atelierist. She has been working with children for years, interweaving the pedagogical function of aesthetic experience and the creative process with the natural growth and evolution of the human being.
