Paolo Loschi is a versatile and generous artist, without predefined schemes and references, without looking towards forced expressiveness, he has concentrated his research in a modern abstractionism, lyrical and reserved, dwelling on the relationship between gestures and matter, between colour and form, achieving remarkable results, admirable for their coherence and emotional impact. Gifted with an incredible instinct for sign and colour, Paolo Loschi, is a fast, impetuous artist, completely unreflective when it comes to distributing weights and encumbrances on the surface of the canvas or sheet of paper, but for this very reason his works possess a sort of primitive beauty, an untamed vigour, which is the consequence of an energetic surplus of a superabundance that is, at the same time, blessed and dangerous.
Biography
After his musical studies, the artist Paolo Loschi turned his attention to the figurative arts. Trained in Venetian circles in painting and graphics, he later delved into the use of colour in the south of Spain. He did not abandon the musical environment, continuing to weave collaborations such as action painting and set design. His works have been exhibited all over Europe.
