Alessandra Perini's artistic career is rooted in a profound visual and material culture. After studying at art school, she graduated in Fashion Design and embarked on a prestigious career as a designer for some of the most renowned brands on the international scene. This background in high fashion has shaped her sensitivity towards fabric, no longer understood merely as a material for use, but as a true expressive language.
Today, her research has shifted from the body to canvas, where the patchwork technique is elevated to a cultured and sophisticated art form.
