Biography
Alessandra Perini's artistic career is deeply rooted in visual and material culture. After graduating from art school with a degree in Fashion Design, she embarked on a prestigious career as a designer for some of the most renowned international brands. Her background in high fashion has shaped her sensitivity towards fabric, which she now considers to be a true expressive language rather than merely a material for use. Her research has now shifted from the body to canvas, elevating patchwork to a cultured and sophisticated art form. Her works are organic, figurative compositions characterised by refined colour combinations — the result of her skilful ability to create a dialogue between precious, contrasting textures.
