Biography
Alessandra Perini's artistic journey is deeply rooted in a rich visual and material culture. After graduating from an Art High School, she earned a degree in Fashion Design and went on to build a distinguished career as a fashion designer for some of the world's most renowned luxury brands. This background in haute couture shaped her unique sensitivity towards textiles, which she no longer views merely as functional materials, but as a powerful means of artistic expression. Today, her research has shifted from the body to the canvas, elevating the traditional technique of patchwork into a refined and sophisticated art form. Her works are organic, figurative compositions distinguished by carefully balanced colour harmonies, showcasing her remarkable ability to combine precious and contrasting fabrics into a cohesive visual language.
