Fabio Calvetti's most typical subject is portrayed in this mixed media work on wood. A woman in a long dress is the undisputed protagonist of the scene, realised in greyscale and blacks. The scene is infused with a character of suspension and expectation. To emphasise the sensual character of the work, the face of the same woman portrayed, almost like a dream, returns in the background, a languid and melancholic face and a large inscription in fiery red "certain solitudes"...
