In this mixed media painting on wood, Fabio Calvetti chooses to depict a scene charged with tension. The lights of the scene make it impossible to place it in a precise temporal space, the female protagonist figure is seated and seems to be waiting for something, or someone. The scene is silent and prolific with questions. The colour red and the woman's clothing give the scene a seductive connotation and emphasise the colours of the frame, which are playful and bright.
