In this work, Lamberto Melina transforms blindness into an act of faith. The protagonist, her eyes covered by a voluptuous turban, seems to rely on a different, more internal way of seeing. A breath emerges from her lips, enveloping itself in a luminous spiral: it is intuition that guides, thought that becomes breath.

The knot of the turban, complex but firm, suggests the strength that comes from accepted limitations. Melina uses his polished realism to evoke a simple and luminous message: sometimes those who choose not to look outside see even more clearly inside.
