In this medium-sized work, the broad outlines of the leaves unfold around the face, created through glazes and layers of enamel. The more vivid tones intertwine with the figure, creating a subtle dialogue between inner life and nature.

Casetti alternates between dripping and soft washes, giving life to a rich and vibrant surface in which gold, green and blue blend with more intense reds and pinks.
