Three large koi carp occupy the centre of the canvas, characterised by bright shades of red, orange and white. Their bodies are arranged in different directions, accompanied by a floral motif that unfolds in the top left-hand corner. The light background allows subtle lines, traces of colour and small scattered details to emerge, whilst a band of inscriptions runs across the lower part of the canvas. The combination of colours and the free arrangement of the fish lend the composition an open and dynamic feel.
