In this large-scale composition, Michelino Iorizzo explores the fine line between image and vision. An intense, magnetic face emerges from an instinctive, layered painting, where colour does not describe but reveals. The gaze, the focal point of the work, captures the observer and holds them in a suspended emotional dimension.

The artist's research stems from an inner process made up of dreams and suggestions, translated into a personal and recognisable painting technique. Iorizzo constructs the image through overlays, drips and spatula strokes, alternating control and gesture, precision and abandonment. The paint is worked, removed and allowed to drip, until the face emerges like a magnetic apparition.
