28_Untitled 721

Casetti creates a dialogue between the delicacy of the portrait and the unpredictability of colour. The female profile takes shape amidst shades of turquoise and pink, whilst behind her unfolds a composition of enamels in vibrant hues. The drips, achieved through a particular technique involving the mixing of enamels with water and turpentine, create a fluid and spontaneous movement. The white background allows each element to breathe, resulting in an image in which the beauty of the face seems to spring directly from the freedom of the painting.
