In Andrea Giovannini's works, the surface takes shape in successive layers, between transparency and density. Here, the shore appears only as a hint at the top, while the water becomes the real space to be crossed: an expanse of blue constructed through tonal transitions that suggest movement and depth. The small figures, integrated into the chromatic texture, expand the reading without interrupting it, introducing a human mark into an almost abstract language. The work thus becomes a synthesis between observation and interpretation, a landscape that transcends reality to become a broad and contemporary visual experience.
