In this work, Lamberto Melina portrays a female figure immersed in silence, with her eyes closed and a pink turban wrapped around her head as if to protect her thoughts. Her smooth, luminous skin, rendered with the artist's usual hyperrealistic precision, emerges from the darkness with an almost meditative delicacy.

On her shoulder, a small dry leaf tied to a thin thread that wraps around and rises upwards becomes a sign of passage, of transformation. It is a simple symbol, but one that suggests how Lamberto Melina sees art: a dialogue between fragility and rebirth, between impeccable matter and meanings that emerge without noise.
