Just as the famous cinematic kiss was not meant to last more than three seconds on the clock so as not to disrupt the timing of the film, in the same way Fabio Presti minimises the possibility of distraction by concentrating on the two protagonists in the painting. The two figures intertwine naturally, paying a fitting tribute to Doisneau's iconic photography.
