05_House on Mars 19

This large square composition takes the viewer on an imaginary space adventure, where a small green house overlooks the green and pink hills of Mars. Fabio Presti applies his unique technique to construct ‘House on Mars 19’, creating an effect of depth and visual complexity. The use of resins, rust and marble dust intertwine to form a mosaic of layers that not only decorate, but tell a story of transformation and adaptation. The surface of the work shows traces of each previous layer, as if the house had a life of its own, evolving and changing under the influence of time and the artist's emotions.
