Emanuele Garletti's production focuses on the figure of woman, who becomes for him and through him a modern queen and source of inspiration. In this large oil on canvas painting, the artist captures an even more intimate nuance : the child side. The scene, totally in black and white, is interspersed only by the yo-yo with which the girl is playing. In the rush to become “grown up,” girls may try to abandon their more sensitive side, which should instead be used as a starting point and push toward self-actualization and a deep self-awareness.
