In Nest, Veronica Green constructs a pulsating interweaving of shapes and colours, a visual habitat in which the pictorial material seems to sprout and stratify. Green, pink, purple and gold patches overlap like leaves, petals and organic fragments, while white openings interrupt the rhythm and suggest spaces for breathing, gaps of light. The painting evokes a living, vibrant plant nest in constant formation, in which every mark contributes to a fragile and dynamic balance. The phosphorescent pigments, which emerge in the dark, reveal a secret dimension: a luminous undergrowth that transforms the work into an intimate nocturnal landscape pulsating with new energy.
