In quest’opera della serie Aria Dura, Pietro Dente rilegge Milano dall’alto attraverso la sua cifra stilistica unica: la sovrapposizione tra pittura e materia trasparente. Il soggetto – il Duomo e la trama urbana che lo circonda – viene trasformato in una mappa pulsante, un intreccio di linee, colori e dettagli che rivelano la complessità della metropoli contemporanea.

La lastra di policarbonato lavorata a rilievo definisce l’architettura con un segno incisivo, quasi “inciso” nella materia, mentre la tela sottostante introduce profondità cromatiche, ombre e vibrazioni luminose. È proprio nel dialogo tra i due livelli che Dente costruisce il suo linguaggio: la città diventa un organismo vivo, che muta con la luce e con il punto di osservazione.
