In Being and Time, Toni Alfano cattura la forza ancestrale di un’icona senza tempo. Lo sguardo ipnotico di una donna nativa americana, vestita con abiti tradizionali, attraversa la superficie consunta dell’opera, evocando un legame profondo tra passato e presente. La tecnica del carboncino, intensa e vibrante, scolpisce il volto con una profondità quasi scultorea, mentre il descialbo rivela strati di materia e memoria, come se l’immagine fosse riemersa da un muro antico. L’opera diventa così un dialogo tra essere e divenire, tra identità e trascendenza, tra la storia e lo sguardo di chi osserva.
