Andrea Giovannini traces emotional cartographies: maps of sea and light that do not describe a place, but a state of mind. Wood becomes his intimate geology, worked with materials such as sawdust to create reliefs, fractures and vibrations. He applies up to twenty-eight layers of water-based paint to this surface, allowing the pigment to flow, recede and thicken, as a silent tide would.

The result is a suspended landscape, where the sea is no longer just an image but an inner movement.
