In this work, Pier Toffoletti continues his exploration of the face as a place of memory and transformation. The protagonist emerges from a layered surface, where painting and gestural interventions intertwine in a poetic balance. Neutral, earthy tones, enriched by delicate botanical references and subtle drips of paint, create an image that is both intimate and contemporary. The clear, penetrating gaze becomes the point of connection between identity and imagination, a defining hallmark of the artist's visual language.
