In this aerial Veduta, Andrea Giovannini transforms the coastline into a vibrant chromatic field: the line of sand dissolves into turquoise, while small bathers emerge as points of life in the landscape. The small aeroplane crossing the scene introduces a narrative, almost cinematic dimension, inviting the gaze to lose itself in the vastness of the sea. The pictorial surface, rich in texture and overlays, creates a sense of movement that envelops the viewer in a suspended perception, between reality and abstraction.
