In Sea of Hearts and I Found You, two lovers sit back to back on a red boat floating in a sea of hearts. There is no need to look at each other: the closeness of their bodies tells of an encounter that has already taken place, of recognizing each other in the midst of a continuous emotional flow. Around them, the turquoise background and the pattern of branches and small flowers create a suspended, almost interior landscape, in which love takes shape through signs, colors, and matter. The work speaks of an unexpected reunion, of two souls who, crossing the same sea, meet and choose to share the journey.
