The work Bark by New Zealand artist Veronica Green recalls the living, changing texture of tree bark, transforming it into an abstract landscape made up of layered verticality, textured drips and chromatic vibrations. Earthly tones intertwine with blue, pink and phosphorescent accents, suggesting a nature in constant metamorphosis. Bark explores the relationship between surface and depth, between what matter reveals and what it conceals: luminescent pigments emerge in the dark, revealing a secret and vibrant landscape.
