Je Shen's art stems from the encounter between traditional gestures and personal invention, transforming the landscape into a suspended and deeply emotional space. The backgrounds, created with a spatula and brush using layers of oil and acrylic, create soft and luminous atmospheres on which his unmistakable blossoms come to life. This explosion of colour is achieved with an industrial dropper, with which the artist deposits the pigment drop by drop, as in a patient ritual, drawing petal by petal. The multiple gradations of each shade make the pictorial surface vibrate, transforming it into a living, pulsating fabric that envelops the gaze and conveys all the poetry of his visual universe.
