In this work, Je Shen relates the richness of his blossoming to the vast urban landscape that opens up beyond the water, creating a delicate balance between nature and the city. The petals, made one by one with a dropper according to his distinctive technique, form a pulsating web of colour that envelops the gaze. The soft light and many colour gradations generate a suspended and silent atmosphere, in which depth and poetry emerge naturally.
