In this work by Chinese artist Je Shen, light filters through the foliage, creating a vibrant tapestry of greens and golden reflections. The two trees emerge as silent presences immersed in a bucolic landscape constructed through a dense weave of chromatic touches that dissolve the contours and amplify the immersive sensation. The sensitivity to light and atmosphere recalls the Impressionist tradition of Claude Monet, reinterpreted, however, with a denser and more contemporary material, capable of transforming nature into a profound and enveloping emotional experience.
