In this work, Je Shen's iconic boat glides silently across a mirror of water immersed in a luminous cascade of blue petals. The surface is the result of a dialogue between the traditional technique used for the background and the blossoms created drop by drop with a dropper, giving depth and an almost three-dimensional vibration. The effect is striking and immersive: an image of rare delicacy that transforms the scene into a moment of pure wonder and contemplation.
