This oil on canvas immediately catches the viewer's eye with its warm colours. A house is semi-immersed in pink water, and is coloured by its reflections. It is surrounded by two trees, including a lagoon cypress, and a tower seems to fall on top of it, but is actually perfectly supported. Only three floating houses disturb the languid stillness of the scene.
