Il lavoro dell’artista cinese Je Shen fonde la tradizionale pittura paesaggistica dell’Asia orientale con l’impressionismo europeo. Contemplare questa opera è come prendere un respiro profondo: una scena naturale appagante, adornata da fiori primaverili ha un effetto calmante. L’artista utilizza una tecnica a velature per i suoi sfondi , mentre dipinge densamente i fiori e le foglie con olio, producendo un aspetto caldo tridimensionale. Il risultato è un’immagine con una profondità sorprendente, non solo nella trama della tela ma nel paesaggio stesso.
