In this medium-sized oil on canvas, Diego Santini paints a scene in which everything is out of place, but at the same time in perfect harmony. A father and his son are watching an incredible spectacle: the moon seems to plunge into the water together with the sofa on which the two are sitting. The moon reflects its pale light onto their faces and the landscape all around, creating an illusion of phosphorescence.
