This small oil-on-canvas painting by Italian artist Lamberto Melina suggests that the physical world is nothing more than an illusion: the transparency of the image's neck represents the inconsistency of matter, largely made up of emptiness. This awareness invites us to understand that reality is shaped by our thoughts and desires, just like an electromagnetic function that responds to our imagination.
The red sphere at the 5th Chakra level emphasises the power of the word: the word, as described in the Bible, is the creative force of our existence. The way we tell our story profoundly influences our future. Finally, a thin rope descending from the forehead symbolises the duality of the mind: on one side, patriarchal rationality; on the other, emotional intuition. This division, faint but present, invites us to seek a balance between the two dimensions, essential for our personal and collective growth.
The painting, therefore, is not just a visual work, but a symbolic guide to finding harmony, imagining a positive future and recognising our role in the creation of reality.
