In this large canvas we admire a woman with barely sketched features dressed in an elegant emerald green dress. On her shoulder a multicoloured parrot seems to whisper mute secrets in her ear. In this work made with a mixed media of coffee, pencil and watercolour Valeria Patrizi wants to emphasise the special connection between the animal world and the feminine dimension of the human soul. The girl with parrot is none other than one of the infinite representations of Mother Nature, to whom we all owe admiration an respect.
