In this tiny work, Fabio Calvetti plays with the contrast between the bright colours of the frame and the sombre colours of the scene depicted. In this intimate and private scene, a woman is portrayed from behind as she zips up her dress by herself. The scene is suspended and induces a sense of anticipation and suspense in the viewer.
