In this large-scale version of Max Gasparini's Yours series, a barely noticeable figure emerges from a weave of jute and pigments. The background, scratched and vibrant, evokes an inner conflict. The tones are warm, almost burnt, as if the entire composition were imbued with passion and sacrifice. In this ‘Yours’, the statement is more visceral: a gift of self that carries scars and courage.
