07_Flight of butterflies II

In this touching large-scale work Enrico Pazzoni “paints” in mixed media on wood the hands of a woman from which a myriad of butterflies hover. The woman is faceless, a metaphor for the loss of self. The butterflies represent the great creative force that is still within her and invite the observer to seek the same force within himself. A refined and enigmatic work.
